If Luang Pho is not guilty, why Luang Pho does not surrender?

Answer – Since the beginning, the accuse from DSI was the accuse of money laundering and receiving stolen property. It is unusual to accuse the monk like this. From the beginning of this nation, there was no monk, in anywhere on earth, received this charge. It didn’t fall into the elements of crime of this charge.

Monk is not businessperson to do business for profit. Luang Pho has ordained for 47 years. As venerable monk, layperson came and and practiced dana by their faiths. Dana has been accepted and immediately forwarded to the temple management committee to manage. From the eye witness, there are various constructions in Wat Phra Dhammakaya and branches. These dana were used for propagate Buddhism. And the most important thing, these constructions were built from the donation money of the faithful. By law, properties of Wat or foundation must be the state property, not belong to anyone.

The officers gave charges wrongly in the first place. This is INJUSTICE. Would it be safety of receiving justice if he decided to proceed as officer’s inquiry. There were many evidences of suspicious death. It’s not trustable because of the vague accuse and illegal from the beginning. As a result, it is questioning on the executions of officers in many aspects.

In addition, the amount of money that Khun Suppachai donated has already been returned to Credit Union by devotees despite it’s not necessary to do so by law. And the amount of this accused money is far less than the value of properties of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and branches from around the world. There is no reason to accuse that Wat Phra Dhammakaya to be incooperated with Khun Suppachai. It is definitely not…, just finding the reason to confiscate Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Wat Phra Dhammakaya has been built since 1970, totally 47 years. Credit Union has been founded for not many years back. Khun Suppachai came to Wat Phra Dhammakaya also for not many years.

Khun Ui, the singer that has been widely mentioned, was not borne yet at the time that the temple built. He has never been here, never donate here even one cent. Though he is a well-known singer, it doesn’t mean that what he said is right. To be capable of singing, but do not have knowledge of law or do not know thoroughly about monk discipline. By just simply hear or read, how can he decide to condemn other people and claim that he had studied Dhamma, only saying in a perfunctory way, making a farfetched, and no logic. This is not credible and cannot be used as norm.

Moreover, the recent policy of military government in dismissing director of National Office of Buddhism, amending the law to take possession of Wat, taking things from monks, you should ask yourself, try to see it through. Who claim to use the law for justice, but behave like thief, ruin Buddhism.

Short Fact of Dhammakaya Scandal Part1

The explanation of Phar Tattachivo, former deputy abbot, Wat Phar Dhammakaya to the Ecclesiastical Pathumthani Province and Pol.Maj.Suriya Singhakamol, Deputy Director - General Office of the Deputy Director of DSI.

The points that Wat Phra Dhammakaya explained to Ecclesiastical  Province Governor and DSI Deputy Chief Suriya regarding the concerns of Wat Phra Dhammakaya’s laypeople.  As a result, laypeople have their own unanimous decision that they do not allow any searching because they are no longer trust government officer for the following reasons

1. The golden statue Luang Pu Wat Paknam: His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, the 10th Reign, presided over the gold pouring ceremony to casting of Luang Pu Wat Paknam in 2014.  But this has been suspicious as fake gold.

2. Foundation stone laying of the Ubosot:  HRH Sirindhorn and HRH Chulabhorn representing Their Majesties the King Rama IX, joined the ceremony.  This was sadly accused that the Ubosot was built without asking permission for approval.

3. Over 300 cases in 2 weeks:  This is considered to be defaming and Pol Gen Srivara disclosed there will be more cases to come

4. Wat Phra Dhammakaya has been developed by the cooperation of millions of laypeople and from their collective donation.  Thus they are the genuine possessors.  But government commanded them to leave the temple.  If they continue to stay, all electricity, water supply, and provisions will be blocked and may be prosecuted accordingly.  This is the attempt to dismiss the owner to get out of their own property despite these laypeople do not obstruct the public road.

5. Ordain to become descendants in Buddhism is not a simple task.  It took a long time to have 2,000 monks as of today.  To accuse them as fake monks and force to leave the monkhood is totally unacceptable to the lay Buddhist.

6. By the use of Section 44 to search everywhere, every single building, floor, and room, siege 6 gates, seal 15 building, triple search in some building during 16-18 February, in total 3 days, the government officers concluded that they couldn’t find the target person.  There was no illegal stuffs or any misconduct.  This process was considered end.  However, there is another request to search again with the reason that Not thoroughly search YET!

From the above mentioned behavior of the officers, the laypersons are not pleased and can no longer trust the officers.

From the above mentioned reasons, Wat Phra Dhammakaya has described to Ecclesiastical Prathum Thani Province Governor and DSI Deputy Chief Suriya to acknowledge.  Thus, the accuse of uncooperative will remain untrue because all mentioned actions are from the agreed decision of devotees.

The fact is that DSI overused their authorities.  The original purpose of the search was to arrest Ven. Dhammajayo but ending with expelling monks and all devotees out of temple.

Although the officers claimed that any monks resided in Wat Phra Dhammakaya (with the proof of Monk-Identification-Card) and followers were allowed to stay, it is NOT TRUE.  The real mission is to take over Wat Phra Dhammakaya, not to arrest Ven. Dhammajayo.  To end the case by asking Ven. Dhammajayo to be present is NOT TRUE because DSI was already aware that Ven. Dhammajayo was not there.  This is only excuse to take control Wat Phra Dhammakaya and force to leave monkhood by following someone’s instruction.

DSI claimed that they want to uncover nationwide.  May we ask? On what?  DSI already searched for Luang Pho in every building but couldn’t find except empty building.  There was no valuable thing as imagine.  Wat Phra Dhammakaya didn’t have any valuable things. Monks and Novice live simply and economically.  This sounded disappointment.  But they still believed that there were treasure hidden somewhere.  As a matter of fact, there is no such a treasure but they do not believe.  They still want to search again and blame all monks and devotee that not obey the law.

Eventually, all the devotees and laypersons cannot accept these behaviors of DSI anymore.

๑. ประเด็น รูปเหมือนทองคำ หลวงปู่วัดปากน้ำ สมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ ๑๐ ทรงเสด็จมาเป็นประธานเททองหล่อรูปเหมือนเอง เมื่อปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๗ แต่ถูกสงสัยว่าเป็นทองคำเก๊

๒. ประเด็นการวางศิลาฤกษ์พระอุโบสถ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ ๙ ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้ สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนฯ และสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าหญิงจุฬาภรณ์ฯ เสด็จแทนพระองค์ มาในพิธี แต่กลับถูกกล่าวหาว่าสร้างโดยไม่ได้ขออนุญาต

๓. คดีเกิดขึ้น ๓๐๐ กว่าคดี ภายใน ๒ สัปดาห์ ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นการกลั่นแกล้งกัน และพล.ต.อ.ศรีวราห์ ได้เคยให้สัมภาษณ์ว่าจะมีคดีเพิ่มตามมาอีก

๔. วัดพระธรรมกาย สร้างโดยความร่วมแรงร่วมใจและปัจจัยจากญาติโยม ที่เก็บเล็กผสมน้อยบริจาคกันมา ญาติโยมนับล้านคน จึงเป็นเจ้าของวัดตัวจริง  แต่ทางการมาออกประกาศให้ญาติโยมออกจากวัด หากจะอยู่ภายในวัด ก็จะถูกตัดน้ำ ตัดไฟ ตัดเสบียง และอาจจะถูกดำเนินคดีต่อไป นั่นคือ ไล่เจ้าของวัดออกจากวัดที่ตนเองสร้าง ทั้งๆที่ ญาติโยมเองไม่ได้อยู่ขวางถนนแต่อย่างใด

๕. การบวชพระ สร้างศาสนทายาทแต่ละรูปนั้นไม่ง่าย กว่าจะได้ถึง ๒,๐๐๐ รูป ในปัจจุบัน ต้องใช้เวลานาน แต่กำลังจะถูกยัดข้อหาว่า เป็นพระปลอมและจะถูกจับสึก ญาติโยมก็ยิ่งยอมรับไม่ได้

๖. กรณี ใช้ ม.๔๔ เข้าตรวจค้น ตั้งแต่วันที่ ๑๖-๑๗-๑๘ ก.พ. รวม ๓ วัน ค้นทุกพื้นที่ ทุกอาคาร ทุกชั้น ทุกห้อง ยึด ๖ ประตู , ซีลอายัด ๑๕ อาคาร บางอาคารตรวจซ้ำถึง ๓ ครั้ง และเจ้าหน้าที่สรุปภารกิจเป็นหนังสือระบุว่า ไม่พบเป้าหมาย ไม่พบสิ่งผิดกฎหมาย และไม่พบการกระทำผิด ถือว่า ภารกิจจบแล้ว แต่ก็ยังมาขอค้นอีก โดยให้เหตุผลว่า ยังค้นไม่ครบทุกอาคาร

ด้วยพฤติการณ์ของเจ้าหน้าที่ดังกล่าวแล้วนี้ ทำให้ญาติโยมไม่พอใจ และไม่ไว้วางใจการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของเจ้าหน้าที่อีกต่อไป

ทั้งหมดข้างต้นนี้ หลวงพ่อทัตตชีโว ได้อธิบายเหตุผลที่ญาติโยมไม่สบายใจและไม่ไว้วางใจเจ้าหน้าที่ให้กับ เจ้าคณะจังหวัดปทุมธานีและรองสุริยา ทราบ ดังนั้นการกล่าวหาว่าหลวงพ่อทัตตชีโว ไม่ให้ความร่วมมือนั้น จึงไม่เป็นความจริง เพราะเหตุผลทั้งหมดดังกล่าว เป็นเหตุผลและมติของญาติโยมกันเองทั้งสิ้น

ความจริงคือ ดีเอสไอใช้อำนาจเกินขอบเขต เพราะการเจรจาแจ้งว่าค้นเพื่อหาหลวงพ่อธัมมชโย แต่กลับบอกว่าต้องให้พระ และญาติโยมออกจากวัด ถึงแม้จะอ้างว่าพระที่มีใบสุทธิสงฆ์ว่าเป็นพระวัดพระธรรมกาย และลูกศิษย์อยู่ได้นั้น ก็ไม่เป็นความจริง เพราะต้องการที่จะยึดวัด ไม่ใช่มาจับหลวงพ่อธัมมชโย ดีเอสไอรู้อยู่แล้วว่าหลวงพ่อธัมมชโยไม่อยู่ ดังนั้นที่บอกว่าให้หลวงพ่อมอบตัวเรื่องก็จบ ก็ไม่เป็นความจริง เพราะดีเอสไอรู้อยู่แล้วว่าท่านไม่อยู่ จึงเอาเป็นข้ออ้างที่จะบุกยึดวัด และสึกพระ เพื่อทำตามคำสั่งของใครบางคน?  ที่อ้างว่าต้องให้คนไทยทั้งประเทศรู้ และขอถามว่าให้รู้เรื่องอะไร เพราะดีเอสไอเข้ามาค้นทุกอาคารแล้วไม่พบหลวงพ่อธัมมชโย พบแต่อาคารว่างเปล่า ไม่มีของล้ำค่าใดๆ อย่างที่ตั้งใจ เพราะวัดพระธรรมกายไม่มีทรัพย์สินมีค่าอะไร พระสงฆ์สามเณรเราอยู่อย่างสมถะ ข้าวของเครื่องใช้ฟุ่มเฟือยไม่มี จึงไม่สมปรารถนา แต่ยังเชื่อว่าวัดมีขุมทรัพย์ซ่อนอยู่ จึงต้องการค้นเพื่อให้พบขุมทรัพย์โคมลอยทั้งที่ไม่มี แต่เมื่อทางวัดบอกว่าไม่มี ก็ไม่เชื่อ แถมยังกล่าวหาพระ กล่าวหาคนที่มาปฏิบัติธรรมว่าไม่ถูกต้อง จนทำให้ญาติโยมไม่ยอมรับพฤติการณ์เจ้าหน้าที่อีกต่อไป

Official Statement from the Devotees of Wat Phra Dhammakaya

The retionale given by DSI to research the temple to arrest Ven.Dhammajayo is not 100% accurate. The main reason is to destroy Wat Phra Dhammakaya,  as investigations by DSI intocrimes Ven.Dhammajayo has been accused of were concluded by the courts in 2016. DSI does not have the authority to gather further evidence. DSI's claim that Ve.Dhammajayo must be present is merely an excuse.  If DSI cannot locate him, the case would proceed anyways. If in the future, the judge found the case against Mr.Supachai to be without merit, then Ven.Dhammajayo would be innocent. If Mr.Supachai is found guilty, then we have to determine if and how his case is related to Ven. Dhammajyo. For these reasons, the search for Ven. Dhammajayo is not related to the case. DSi's real intention is to dismantle the temple.

Article 44 is being invoked in lieu of the rule of law because no legal retionale exists in the constitution. The order to arrest in unlawful. The actions (of DSI) are unlawful. They've executed a search warrant to locate Ven.Dhammajayo. When he could not be found, They prohibited entry to buildings, and ordered monks and devotees to vacate the temple premise. This is unjust and unlawful.

Throughout the time that Wat Phra Dhammakaya founded by Phra Thepyanmahamuni, there was no Thai media place importance on.  Even if there were any appreciations, it would be blamed the media were controlled by Wat Phra Dhammakaya.

Wat Phra Dhammakaya has been propagating Buddhism consecutively  even though there was no appreciation from group of Thais who never learned or practiced in Wat Phra Dhammakaya.  On the contrary, Wat Phra Dhammakaya was criticized and accused as a doctrine, hypnosis, etc.  As a matter of fact, Wat Phra Dhammakaya makes people to be good one.   The perception of outside views negatively against Wat Phra Dhammakaya because media's mislead.  These media set doubts without finding the truth, but presenting negative point of views by a few people who lost benefits from the good performing of laypeople who practicing in Wat Phra Dhammakaya.  No matter how much chaos faced, Phra Thepyanmahamuni has never failed to propagate the teaching of the Lord Buddha until he received many awards, certificates, and honors from many countries around the world from his leading role in propagating Buddhism.  But in contrast, in Thailand, it has been seen as an insane.  Nevertheless, Phra Thepyanmahamuni continues to make his disciples to learn to reach Nirvana following the teaching of the Lord Buddha.

In the midst of conflicts, Phra Thepyanmahamuni was accused about involving in misconducts by Thais who don’t have faith in Buddhism and even some Thais who claim to be Buddhist. Phra Thepyanmahamuni has never complained or blamed anyone.  On the other hand, these people continue scandals and claim this attempt is on behalf of Buddhist. It seems to be contradict because scandal and defame are all immoralities.  Unfortunately, some Thais who love to listen to the dark side of other people seem to admire and comply with these accusations.  Phra Thepyanmahamuni has been living in this unfavorable situation but still continue propagating Buddhism and support this propagation widely. Administration

He is an Abbot with highly respect to the rule and monk’s discipline.  He teaches his fellows including monks in Wat Phra Dhammakaya, layman, laywoman, and all staffs to be in precepts all the time, live simply, not wasteful, and not use more than necessary until Wat Phra Dhamakaya was in famous of discipline, cleanliness, peaceful, and suitable for Buddhism activities.

Propagation

He is the leader in propagating Buddhism.  Though he teaches everyone to live simply and not wasteful, the propagation must require space and building. He, then orders to build the facilities for the coming laypeople.  For Dhamma Study Department, he also build the school for monks and novices.  Therefore, every building of Wat Phra Dhammakaya is necessary for propagating Buddhism.  The buildings may look gigantic, but they were built for purposes and necessity.  With all in order and tidiness, all these constructions look great.

He always meditates and does inside-meditation all the time right after his daily routine.  He has never taught anyone to be naïve to wait for miracles. He has never convinced people to believe in fortune.  He intends to teach people to understand in the real religion.  Dhanna (Donation) is the way to raise people’s mind.  It has been taught since the lord Buddha’s enlightment.  Every monk in this era also teaches in the same way.  He is seriously ill and tries to fight the disease by his Dhamma.  He did not eat differently from other monks in Wat Phra Dhammakaya.  He does not collect any valuable things in his room except only medicine and necessary things for monk.  He has never touched money even a single baht.  All donated money or properties will be responsible by relevant departments to support the propagation.  He has never saved money, even small amount, for his personal use.  He has never have passport and never been travel to any country.  He propagates Buddhism only in Wat Phra Dhammakaya.

Accusation, offense, and prosecute Phra Thepyanmahamuni

Whether to charge Phra Thepyanmahamuni is right or wrong?  From the fact that appear, donated money so called Dhanna to monk was received by monk.  Should it be considered as guilty?
There was attempt to accuse as money laundering despite Phra Thepyanmahamuni had no power to force anybody to donate him money.  Donators were not neither naïve nor uneducated.  They donated from their faith.  How could monk know where the donated money come from or where rice in the monk’s alms bowl come from?  This charge is the weirdest.  If the charge takes place, all monks in Thailand should also be investigated.

The clashes broke out as monks and temple devotees defied police orders and continued to gather at the temple north of Bangkok on Monday.

The stand-off began on Thursday when police launched a search for the temple's former abbot, Phra Dhammajayo, who is wanted for alleged money-laundering.

It prompted thousands of devotees to show up in defence of the abbot, in scenes similar to a 2016 stand-off when police attempted a search.

Some monks were injured in Monday's scuffles and were led away for treatment. No major injuries have been reported so far.

Mass prayer sessions were conducted outside the temple. The temple's followers are known for their intense devotion, and the group has often been compared to charismatic cults.

Thousands of police and soldiers surrounded the site on Sunday. The military had sealed off roads leading to and from the temple and put the entire area under their control.

Officers so far have failed to locate the abbot while searching the 4 sq km (1.5 sq mile) compound, which is nearly 10 times the size of the Vatican

        Thailand has been known as a Buddhist dominated country even the new Constitutional Drafting 2559 B.E. of Constitution Drafting Committee has mentioned that "Thailand has no National Religion", and several International Buddhist authorities also located in Thailand. As the world's largest temple, Wat Phra Dhammakaya has been serving the public for almost more than 4 decades with the great Abbot who is Phrathepyanmahamuni (Most Venerable Dhammajayo). He has devoted the past 47 years to the propagation of Buddhism and Dhammakaya Meditation, which has attracted millions of devotees in Thailand and in 80 branches in 33 countries around the world. He has done all this voluntary donations, without a single Baht subsidized by the government. His many awards and recognitions from Thailand's Senate, multiple foreign governments, and Buddhist temples and associations across Asia.

           Recently, Phrathepyanmahamuni has been accused for money laundering with inevident and called for appearing to sign the acceptance allegation of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI). Unfortunately, his medical condition is getting worse and unable to go for the call, instead the DSI was invited to Wat Phra Dhammakaya with the unreasonable refusal which is the beginning of the series of violent to Wat Phra Dhammakaya and the relevance. Actually,  Phrathepyanmahamuni has absolute human's rights to refuse the call with no respects at all from DSI. Finally, Phrathepyanmahamuni cannot be found and unable to get him to sign the accusation notice outside Wat Phra Dhammakaya. DSI sequentially issued the DSI Conscription notice, then Search Warrant, and then Arrest Warrant with the use of Section 44 to disregardfully seal off Wat Phra Dhammakaya. What is the reasons behind this story? And what is section 44?
